I have heard nothing but raves about Mrs. Meyer's household cleaners and I have no idea why it took me so long to try them out myself. Because, now that I have, just you go ahead and count me in among the ravers.
Washing dishes is literally my most despised of all chores, and the fact that the lavender dish soap made me kind of almost sort of look forward to it, is the biggest compliment I can give it. Aside from being (mostly) natural, biodegradable and phosphate-free, it is literally the best-smelling household cleaning product I have ever encountered, and it certainly worked for me as well as the stuff with the harsher chemicals--even the scary, morning-after, cast iron grill pan was no match, and that's saying something.
I was fairly keen on the basil dish soap scent as well, a nice alternative if you've got a man of the house who actually does dishes and doesn't want to smell like a girlie day spa, although I'm thinking of trying out the lemon verbena dish soap on my next Fairway run. There's even a line of fragrance-free cleaning products if you're the anti-fragrance type, which I actually thought I was until now.
