Frighteningly artful Halloween invitations
I've been thinking about having a small Halloween party for my three-year-old and her friends. Nothing elaborate. No baking required. And I'll send out the invitations on-line because who has the time to dig up everyone's actual address?

Fortunately pingg, one of Cool Mom Pick's favorite free on-line card store, has a new collection of Halloween invites and cards by actual artists, and they're so cute, it's scary. (Ha.)
Browsing the selection of Halloween e-Cards and invites at pingg will definitely put you in the Halloween mood. I love the Dapper Skeleton design by Etsy artist Katie Crawford, and the Halloween Gang (above) by children's book artist Jannie Ho of Chickengirl Desgn. There's even a design by Lindsay Brackeen, whose amazing artwork has been featured right here.

You can even use the site to help you keep track of your guest list and RSVP's. The only real downside to on-line invites, for me, is I never want to save them because they aren't special enough and that makes me a little sad. These however, are baby book worthy.

Of course if I have time to put things in a baby book, maybe I have time to do some baking too. Chocolate cupcakes with orange frosting, anyone? -Elizabeth
