Affordable baby shower gifts get even cuter with Skip*Hop
I remember my first baby's activity gym. It lit up, it sang, it was really annoying. (And you know who else thought it was annoying? My cat. She peed all over it.) But, I used that activity gym constantly--after washing it thoroughly, of course. So my advice to new moms is buy one that you won't mind looking at (and listening to) all day, every day.

If you're a new mom, or soon to be one, lucky you! Skip*Hop's newest infant toy collection, Treetop Friends, has a great looking activity mat that I would be happy to look at every day along with some other wonderful baby gear.
The entire Treetop Friends collection from Skip*Hop is beautifully designed with owls, squirrels, birds and trees and the hipster color palette is thoroughly modern. With developmental toys, stroller toys and the best looking activity mat on the market (in my opinion, of course), this collection is going to make a lot of new mommies and babies happy.

With five adorable hanging toys, multiple textures and a mirror, babies will be in Treetop Friends heaven with the mat. Another favorite is the Hug and Hide Owl. The owl's wings Velcro over her face to play peek-a-boo and, when you open up the wings, there's the surprise of a baby owl, mirror and wood ring for teething. The attention to detail is impressive with different textile patterns and textures.

The Skip*Hop stroller toys are also extremely cute and each ring in under $10, making the owl, bird, or apple a nice add-on to a bigger baby gift. Hooray for affordable adorableness. - Elizabeth
