Kosher for Passover candy, beyond macaroons
While we've had a whole lot of ideas for Easter treats lately, it's not always as easy to find great Passover treats in the Parve aisle. If you're over the macaroons and those fruit slice candies that taste nothing like fruit, here's a way tastier option that your kids will totally get a kick out of. The chocolate marshmallow frogs from Zelda's Sweet Shoppe look absolutely adorable. While I haven't tried them myself, they get all sorts of rave reviews, including a nomination for best new product at Kosherfest. But you don't have to be kosher to like them--they're a hit with the lactose-intolerant crowd too. There's are lots of gift sets at Zelda's as well, including one that pairs the frogs with chocolate locusts, if you're celebrating by eating each of the plagues for dessert, you're in luck. Visit Zelda's Sweet Shoppe for lots of Kosher for Passover treats and gifts. If you're not near Skokie, IL, luckily you can have them shipped two-day air. It's also worth noting that plenty of the Scharffen Berger chocolates are Kosher for Passover. And YUM.  Find a partial listing at KosherEye.com
