I'm not sure if it's the fact that I'm cold all the time, or just like wearing lots and lots of layers, but for many years now, a camisole has always been a staple in my wardrobe. It also continues to be, now that I'm shopping for maternity clothes again only I want a really, really good one.
I like how a good cami just smoothes everything out but with my expanding belly, the camisoles that I used to wear are quickly becoming halter tops. Not a good or comfy look. Luckily, I have discovered a line of great maternity shapewear called Cozy Belly that will support my camisole habit for the rest of this pregnancy.
You won't find a ton of different styles or colors that you have to try and navigate through. There are actually just three different camisole styles: pregnancy, nursing and post-pregnancy, each in either black or white. Simple! I like that.
What I like even more is the fit of the Original Cozy Tank. It's nice and snug and comfortably fits over my belly. While it's form-fitting now, the material has enough stretch in it to accommodate my expansion over the coming months. It's also long enough to cover that not-so-attractive band in maternity clothes and it is designed to not ride up and act so halter top-ish, like my other one. And for after the baby comes? Looking forward to checking out the Cozy Nursing Tank.
I'm getting used to the required changes to my fashion routine, but I'm glad that I can at least stick to my tried and true basics for keeping me covered and comfortable (and warm). -Jeana
