KIND Healthy Grains Bars
I'm generally not stingy with my healthy snacks--or any snacks, for that matter--but since I discovered the new KIND Healthy Grains Bars, I love them so much that I hide them very strategically from my children. Yes, they're just that good. I am a long time KIND bar fan. I usually have at least one or two in my bag at all times, and that will continue with the Healthy Grains Bars. These, however, are more like a granola bar. They are non-GMO and gluten-free, like the original bars, which is a huge plus for folks with allergies, or people like me who just like to avoid gluten when I can. Plus, they've got quinoa and a few other hard-to-pronounce grains that make me feel fancy when I eat them. I'm only half joking about that. Sugar counters will be glad to know that there's about 8g per bar, which is comparable to--if not less than--most sweet healthy snacks I've found. And yes, they've got fiber and protein and a full-serving of whole grains. But mostly I just love the texture, which is the perfect combination of soft and crunchy. Just know that when you buy them, you may even need to hide them from yourself. You can purchase the new KIND Healthy Grains Bars by the case on their website, or check your local grocery store. That's where I found them by the box (of 6).
