Big UNIQLO sale alert: 10 awesome kids' clothing pieces under $20.

I am never one to pass up a UNIQLO sale, especially since they've become my personal go-to for pants and sweaters. Seriously, I wear them pretty much every single day in some combination. But their kids clothes are fabulous too. If you're not yet familiar with UNIQLO, it's a Japanese-based company that makes what I'd describe as affordable modern and urban clothing for the entire family. Like H+M only more basics and solid colors, lots of gender neutral styles, and an excellent selection of clothes for kids. That includes non-hoochie clothes for girls. Hooray. So of course I spent way too long on the site, searching out my favorite kids' items on sale under $20 that I think are must-haves for the winter--so you can stock up for the rest of this season or put one in a larger size aside for next year. I find that their clothes run pretty true to size, if just slightly big (although my kids are on the super slender side). Most of these items come in lots of colors, but sizes are limited, not surprisingly, so hurry!  

Kids' light warm padded vest, was $29.90, now $19.90 This has become a cold-weather staple for us, over a jeans jacket or under a parka for extra warmth.

Girls' color skinny fit jeans, was $22.90, now $14.90 The kind of pants girls really love - grab a few colors at this price and stockpile them!

Kids' faux shearling hoodie, was $22.90, now $14.90 How awesome not to see a giant logo across the chest.

Girls' fleece coat, was $39.90, now $19.90 I can't believe the price on this! I wouldn't spend a lot on a white coat normally but this one is worth the 20 bucks.

Girls' cable knit tunic, was $29.90, now $9.90 Terrific basic at a really nice price. Plus this purple is so pretty, isn't it?

Toddler faux fleece hooded jacket, was $19.90, now $7.90 Another smart outerwear staple that will take your kids right into spring.

Kids' slim fit jeans, was $22.90, now $14.90 Whenever I see jeans on sale at a great price I grab a few. UNIQLO does a nice job with them.

Kids' warm padded fleece vest, was $39.90, now $19.90 So on trend in this fun lumberjack plaid.

Girls' corduroy skirt, was $14.90, now $5.90 This is a steal! It will be awesome when the weather gets warmer and the stockings are put away, too.

Toddler fleece duffle coat, was $39.90, now $19.90 A cute coat under $20? This one is calling my name for sure. Well, my daughter's name.
