This year, I'm determined to get some of my home decor annoyances crossed off my to-do list and that includes finding a new comforter.
One problem.
I've been looking for a comforter that's just the right shade of navy for a while now, and I haven't been able to find it. Anywhere.
(And I don't need to tell you that braving the mall with a three-year-old and coming home empty-handed is frustrating.)
So when I heard about the custom-dyed bedding from Flaneur, I kind of geeked out. While spendy, this is a seriously amazing home decor solution that will make life so much easier for those of us with really specific visions for our home, but who don't have the time to drive from store to store with our toddlers in town, or hire a pro to track it down for us.
Their process is definitely all about luxury. Each batch of cotton is DNA tested (wha-aaaa?) evidently to ensure it is the very highest quality Supima. The thread is 100% biodegradable, no toxins, and every detail is well-considered down to the Swiss fashion house-sourced zippers.
Oh, and those perfect fitted corners use French seams.
In other words, these are way nicer than the sheets I've been picking up at Target .
