Related: 8 gratitude activities to practice with your kids this Thanksgiving
Click over and you'll find some terrific ideas, but one of my favorites is absolutely free: This printable gratitude jar page from Space and Quiet. While she has great instructions for cutting it out and pasting it directly into a gratitude journal, I think you can use it all on its own as a coloring page for all your guests. Just place each one at each place setting at your Thanksgiving table along with colored pencils, crayons, or fine-tip markers (if you don't use a white tablecloth at Thanksgiving, ha). Younger kids can color it in, while older kids and adults can fill it with a list of things they're grateful for, illustrate a single one -- get creative. If you're really feeling crafty and can make the time, you could photograph each gratitude page, then turn the set into an affordable photo book -- this 6x6 photo book from Shutterfly includes 20 pages for just $9.99 each or try the softcover photo books from Artifact Uprising. A few weeks later, you can send one to each of the families at your Thanksgiving table as a thoughtful reminder of your time together, or even as a creative holiday gift. They'll all be feeling grateful for you. Some purchases from this post may generate a small affiliate commission that helps support our work at no additional cost to you. Thank you for your support!
